Bad Advice on the HCG Diet
Every day we have customers call us telling us about something they read about the HCG Diet that turns out to be bad advice. So, we feel that it is our duty as HCG Diet purists, to spread as much good advice as we can across the internet, but it’s an uphill battle.
Not sure what we’re talking about? Here are a few examples of common, bad HCG practices promoted by some companies:
- Using HCG shakes instead of following Dr. Simeons’ HCG meal plan
- Eating foods not in Dr. Simeons like broccoli, green beans, or turkey on the Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD)
- Using your regular lotion or moisturizers rather than HCG-approved products during the VLCD on HCG
- 800 calorie diet plans or 60- or 90-day plans (rather than the official 500-calorie, 23 to 40-day plan)
- Using products that say they’re HCG, but don’t actually list HCG in the ingredients
We’re pretty sure that these HCG Diet companies don’t have your best interests in mind. They want you to have slow weight loss on HCG, so you’ll have to do even more HCG rounds and buy more HCG products in order to reach your HCG goal weight. So please, for your own benefit, use caution when buying HCG and HCG support products and taking HCG advice. Your own health and safety are too important.
Here are a few questions to ask to help separate the good from the bad:
- Is the company’s phone number and address easy to find on their website?
- Do they seem to promote Dr. Simeons’ original meal plan and rules for personal care products?
- If they have a phone number, does anyone answer when you call?
